Red Wine helps prevent heart attacks! Now we know how.

Specifically, Resveratrol, a component found in grapes was thought to have protective effects. Now, science has shed more light on this. Recent studies have shown that resveratrol reduces the production of TMAO, a compound which forms in the liver and then moves into the bloodstream and can contribute to heart attacks.
